Business Lab Workshop on Creative Industries
Washington DC, November 7, 2016 - The Young Americas Business Trust (YABT), Organization of American States, Ministry of MASHAV – ISRAEL’S AGENCY FOR INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT COOPERATION MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS, JERUSALEM, The Golda Meir Mount Carmel International Training Center (MCTC), the Dominica Export Import Agency (D.E.X.I.A) Ministry of Trade, Dominica Youth Business Trust, Small Business Support Unit and National Development Foundation of Dominica held a Business Labs focused on Creative Industries November 7 - 11, 2016, in Roseau, Dominica at the Garraway Hotel Conference Room.
The Business Labs program develops 5-day workshops that focus on providing their participants with hands-on training and helping them acquire tools that will aid them in the development of innovative ideas and their implementation. From day one, the trainees begin working with experts provided by the Golda Meir Mount Carmel International Training Center to build on their initial project ideas with the objective of presenting a consolidated business model on the last day of the workshop. The goal is to facilitate business development for entrepreneurs.
This workshop is organized by YABT with the support of national and international partners. Welcome Remarks were done by Mr. Gregoire Thomas General Manager of DEXIA and Hon. Ian Douglas Minister of Trade was the Feature Speaker at the opening ceremony. The experts from MCTC are Ms. Sharon Gesthalter and Mr. Moshe Harel.
There were nineteen (19) participants from various sectors in the Creative Arts Industry.
