iKono Telecommunicaciones and Conexión Adulto Mayor represent Latin-American Business Entrepreneurship in Asia
Outstanding participation of Latin American teams in Global Tic Taiwan. Conexión Adulto Mayor from Peru and iKono Telecommunicaciones from Colombia, were Latin-American representatives in Global TIC Taiwan. A challenge seeking innovative business and testing competitiveness and leadership.
iKono Telecommunicaciones, led by three young entrepreneurs from Pereira, Colombia, brought back to the South American country a prize for Cloud Computing in Global TIC Taiwan 2012, held in the city of Hsinchu, Taiwan. A telecommunications project that aims to develop IP telephony solutions used in IP-PBX, call centers and telephone applications.
Conexión Adulto Mayor, a company with a visualization to link research with senior care centers; participated in Global TIC Taiwan 2012, giving clarity on what business innovation is, and taking the prize for Best Social Entrepreneur.
"The participation of entrepreneurs from Conexión Adulto Mayor was productive, we received a training and assessment from Taiwanese CEOs" says Maria Isabel Leon, from Conexión Adulto Mayor, making it clear that Global TIC Taiwan served as a vehicle to develop business strategies for business actors.
Global TIC Taiwan 2012 is a global business competition that involves training phases; business camps and visits from Asian multinational companies, giving young people the opportunity to bind with heads of global companies, and receive feedback that enriches and empowers their business idea in the global market.
