Panama City, Panama, July 13, 2017. The Young Americas Business Trust (YABT) and the Government of Israel through the Israeli Agency for International Development Cooperation (MASHAV) are pleased to announce the development of the next Workshop InnovAcción "Business Laboratory focused on Innovation", as part of the international technical cooperation that they maintain to support the Member States of the OAS in the development of capacities in the environment of entrepreneurship and innovation.
The program focused on "training of trainers" will take place in Panama City, Panama, from July 31 to August 4, 2017, in collaboration with the City of Knowledge, the Embassy of Israel in Panama, Government agencies, among other collaborating entities that make it possible for YABT to continue to promote this type of programs in the region.
The program seeks to generate capacities for the improvement of business competitiveness through the management of innovating processes. It will be led by Jaime Amsel and Nuria Levy, specialists from the Golda Meir International Training Center MASHAV Carmel (MCTC) in Haifa, Israel.
The invitation is aimed to professionals from public, private and academic entities that are linked to programs and initiatives of entrepreneurship, innovation and job creation. In addition, it is a requirement that we have the commitment to multiply the knowledge with other organizations and community of entrepreneurs of the region. Program activities will include plenary sessions, group discussions, case studies, and the formulation of innovation proposals for exposure to a panel of experts.
Following the workshop, participants will be able to directly access follow-up programs and a portfolio of customized accompaniment services tailored to their needs by YABT.
InnovAcción is a workshop focused on "hands-on training" through business exercises in which participants acquire skills that contribute to the development of innovation. The workshop focuses on the training of trainers on the theme of promoting entrepreneurs, trainers who can participate at the level of incubators, innovation centers, universities, technological and industrial parks, productive sector, among other actors in the innovation environment.
