Santo Domingo, June 14th 2016- On the past 10th and 11th of June in the Hotel Barceló Santo Domingo was took new edition of the “Expo international of entrepreneurialism” that every year has been celebrateand organized by Young American Business Trust (YABT) in the frame of the competition of innovation and talent of the Americas.
There were more than 600 visitors in this event where the 35 finalist of TIC America, TIC Republican Dominican and the competition of innovation of the Caribbean exposed their ventures.
In this Event we could count with the participation of international organism like the World Bank and the Organization of American States (OAS) and some companies recognized in the worldwide like PepsiCo and others local institutions with a very high level of recognition like: BanReservas, El Banco de los Dominicanos, Conadis, El Consejo Nacional de la discapacidad, etc.
In this International Expo we counted with the present of de S.E. Luis Almagro, Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), S.E. Néstor Méndez, Deputy Secretary General OAS, S.E. Andrés Navarro García, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Dominican Republic, S.E. César Roberto Dargam, Vice Minister of External Relations of the Dominican Republic, S.E. Neil Parsan, Executive Secretary for Integral Development , S.E. Araceli Azuara , OAS Representative in the Dominican Republic , and Ambassador Carmen Moreno , Executive Secretary , Inter-American Commission of Women.
We must note that in this event we count whit Manuela Ferro Director of Operations and Strategy for Latin America and the Caribbean from the World Bank, Ignacio de León Lead Specialist in Private Sector Development Competitiveness and Innovation Division in Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). From PepsiCo representing by the Vice President Monica Bauer, Leonel Ruiz general Manager of PepsiCo and by Postobon was Mr. Sebastian Devis Rueda.
