Quito, Ecuador. October 8th, 2015 – the entrepreneurial rise in Ecuador, mainly seen in youth, leads to the betterment of the relation between public and private actors. This cooperation aims to give entrepreneurial support in order to generate competitive businesses that can address the youth unemployment. Committed to this, the Young Americas Business Trust (YABT) and the State of Israel, announced the workshop NexLinks “Support Systems for Business Development”, which will take place in Ecuador’s Capital City from November 23th to November 27th, 2015.
This program’s local strategic partner is the Simon Bolivar Andean University, in Ecuador.The workshop is the result of the alliance for the young entrepreneurial action in the Americas, consolidated by technical cooperation between the YABT and the State of Israel through its Agency for International Development Cooperation (MASHAV) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International Training Center Golda Meir-Monte Carmel (MCTC) in Haifa, Israel.
This 40-hour-long workshop has the purpose of transferring new tools, contents and international methodologies. Besides, it aims to the strengthening of capabilities of public and private entities, which are responsible of offering entrepreneurial services and integrate guidance during the initiation and expansion stages of businesses.
This program is aimed for entrepreneur professionals, academics, government and private sector, actively linked by the entrepreneurial activities, productive development, social youth inclusion and support to women. Also, public policy makers and young owners of early stage businesses and growing stage businesses can be eligible to deliver their application. The training sessions highlight the Israeli situation on how this nation turned into a pioneer in innovation, as well as the policies that helped consolidate business support systems.
